FRENCH PRESS
Follow the steps below to brew a delicious cup of coffee using the French press
- 1. Heat water to just below boiling point.
- 2. Coarsely grind coffee beans.
- 3. Add the ground coffee to the empty French press.
- 4. Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee, saturating all the grounds.
- 5. Let the coffee bloom for about 30 seconds.
- 6. Slowly pour the remaining hot water into the French press, ensuring all the coffee grounds are submerged.
- 7. Place the plunger on top of the French press, but do not press it down.
- 8. Let the coffee steep for about 4 minutes.
- 9. Slowly and steadily press the plunger down, separating the brewed coffee from the grounds.
- 10. Pour the freshly brewed coffee into your favorite mug, and savor the rich flavors of French press coffee!
CHEMEX
Follow the steps below to brew a delicious cup of coffee using the CHEMEX
- 1. Heat water to around 200°F (93°C).
- 2. Grind coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency.
- 3. Place a Chemex filter in the top portion of the brewer, with the triple-folded side facing the spout.
- 4. Rinse the filter with hot water, allowing the water to flow through and preheat the Chemex. Discard the rinse water.
- 5. Add the ground coffee to the filter, ensuring it is evenly distributed.
- 6. Begin the brewing process by pouring a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds, enough to saturate them. Allow it to bloom for about 30 seconds.
- 7. Slowly pour the remaining hot water over the coffee in a circular motion, working your way from the center to the outer edges.
- 8. Maintain a steady pour, aiming to keep the water level just below the rim of the Chemex.
- 9. Once all the water has passed through the coffee grounds, remove the filter and discard it.
- 10.Serve the brewed coffee from the Chemex and enjoy the clean, smooth flavors that this method produces.
V60 POUR OVER
Follow the steps below to brew a delicious cup of coffee using the V60 POUR OVER
- 1. Place a V60 dripper on top of a mug or carafe, and insert a paper filter.
- 2. Rinse the paper filter with hot water to remove any paper taste and warm up the dripper.
- 3. Discard the rinse water from the mug or carafe.
- 4. Grind coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency.
- 5. Add the ground coffee to the paper filter in the V60 dripper.
- 6. Start pouring hot water (just off boiling) slowly over the coffee, saturating the grounds evenly.
- 7. Allow the coffee to bloom for about 30 seconds.
- 8. Continue pouring hot water in a slow, circular motion, keeping the water level steady and the grounds fully immersed.
- 9. Once you've reached your desired coffee volume, let the remaining water drip through the filter.
- 10. Remove the V60 dripper and paper filter, and enjoy the smooth and aromatic cup of V60 pour-over coffee!
MOKA POT
Follow the steps below to brew a delicious cup of coffee using the MOKA POT
- 1. Fill the lower chamber of the Moka pot with hot water up to the pressure release valve.
- 2. Insert the funnel-shaped filter basket into the lower chamber and fill it with medium-fine ground coffee, leveling it off.
- 3. Screw the upper chamber tightly onto the lower chamber, ensuring a secure seal
- 4. Place the Moka pot on a stovetop over medium heat.
- 5. As the water heats up, steam will build pressure, pushing hot water through the coffee grounds and into the upper chamber
- 6. Once you hear a gurgling sound and see the top chamber filling with coffee, remove the Moka pot from the heat.
- 7. Give the pot a gentle stir to ensure the brewed coffee is well mixed.
- 8. Allow a few moments for the coffee to settle before pouring it into your cup.
- 9. Enjoy the rich and flavorful cup of Moka pot coffee!
